Home and School Club

Home and School Club (HSC) is a vital organization on the Del Mar Elementary School campus.  The HSC group is made up of parents and school staff members who are dedicated to working together to bring enriching and positive school experiences to our students.

 

A variety of activities are planned throughout the year to bring families together with the school.  For example, the back-to-school picnic kicks off the year for an informal time to enjoy a pot luck dinner and get to know each other. Other activities during the year include book fairs, dia de Los Muertos, walk-a-thon, drive for schools, and of course the annual garden festival. Fundraisers conducted during the year go directly back into the school to supplement the school’s programs. The ball wall, computers for the classroom, and the phenomenal GaGa Ball Pit are only a few of the many projects that the Del Mar HSC has been able to accomplish! Thanks for your help!!!!

 

We were all a part of history last year! Together we made it through what felt like an overwhelming challenge!

 

As you are gearing up and preparing for the 2021-2022 school year, we hope that you will make a plan to become more actively involved in school. Your child’s classroom is a great place to start. Get to know your teacher and learn about what your child is learning. You’ll be surprised how much better your child will do in school with you involved. Please don’t be hesitant to help out with school events. We need all the volunteers we can get to make the school year positive and fun. The Home and School Club looks forward to your involvement and is eager to meet you.
